About The Position
K38 Baja Grill is opening a new location in Cary, NC, in mid to late July 2026, and is seeking passionate Prep Cooks to join their opening team. K38 is part of the Live.Eat.Surf restaurant group, which is known for scratch-made food, a fun and fast-paced environment, and a strong culture of teamwork and respect.
Requirements
- Previous prep or kitchen experience preferred, but we’re willing to train the right candidate
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude
- Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual with a desire to grow in the culinary field
Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh ingredients daily to support our signature Baja-inspired menu
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the prep area
- Follow recipes and portion standards with accuracy and consistency
- Support kitchen operations by helping line cooks and chefs as needed
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times
