About The Position

Join the team at Liberty on the Lake, a lakeside favorite serving up bold flavors, scratch-made dishes, and unbeatable views of Lake Murray. We’re looking for a dedicated Prep Cook to help keep our kitchen running smoothly while delivering an unforgettable dining experience for our guests. Liberty on the Lake is part of the Homegrown Hospitality Group, a family of unique restaurant concepts across Charleston, Columbia, and Myrtle Beach. Requirements

18+ and ready to work in a fast-paced kitchen
Excellent teamwork, time management, and attention to detail
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling

Nice To Haves

Experience in a prep or kitchen role is a plus

Responsibilities

Keep kitchen areas, walk-ins, and storage clean and organized
Follow food safety standards for prep, labeling, storage, and sanitation
Handle chemicals, tools, and equipment with care and precision
Receive and stock deliveries properly
Maintain and operate dish machines and assist in dishwashing areas
Support Line Cooks and other team members during service
Ensure a safe and organized work environment that complies with health regulations
