Requirements

1 or more years of experience working in high-volume and/or guest-facing food service preferred
Working knowledge and/or exposure to dining room and service standards, procedures, and functions preferred
Knowledgeable in proper food and drink handling & storage
Attention to detail
Calm and respectable demeanor
Solution-oriented perspective
Experience using TOAST or other point of sale software
Sushi Chefs: 1-2 years culinary experience or culinary education preferred

Responsibilities

Working as a team with FOH and BOH to ensure consistent and timely experience for guests through customer service and food quality
Actively assisting fellow team members in meeting the needs of guests
Following company policies, state and food safety and sanitation standards
Maintaining clean and organized workstations by always practicing safe and sanitary food handling
Maintaining friendly, helpful, and positive attitude while at work
Approaching interactions with co-workers and guests in a respectful & solution-oriented manner
Answering questions and making recommendations about food, beverage, and sustainability practices
Continued education surrounding Japanese cuisine and beverages
