About The Position

Randall's Restaurant is looking for a Cold Foods/Pantry Prep Cook to join our energetic, fine-dining team in Orefield, PA. If you have fine dining restaurant experience and knowledge, we want you! The ideal candidate has an excellent understanding proper prep of salads, appetizers, desserts and garnishes. They will be able to work in a demanding, team-based environment - preparing food to the restaurant's exact specifications. They will also display a high degree of self-sufficiency, executing assigned tasks with accuracy and speed.

Requirements

• Fine dining restaurant experience and knowledge
• Excellent understanding of proper prep of salads, appetizers, desserts and garnishes
• Ability to work in a demanding, team-based environment
• Ability to prepare food to the restaurant's exact specifications
• High degree of self-sufficiency
• Ability to execute assigned tasks with accuracy and speed
• Holiday availability

Responsibilities

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service.
• Finishing menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Answer, report and follow executive chef’s instructions.
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
• Stock inventory appropriately.
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.
• Comply with nutrition & sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
