Requirements

  • Restaurant, retail or guest service experience preferred.
  • Able to work under stress.
  • Able to work accurately and rapidly.
  • Able to multitask.
  • Must possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
  • Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to change when required.
  • Ability to work with different pieces of kitchen equipment.
  • Must be well groomed and follow company uniform standards.
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
  • Must have reliable transportation and phone.

  • Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
  • Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., while performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for long periods of time; frequently walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear; occasionally sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Responsibilities

  • Reads recipes and produces products in a timely manner.
  • Reads the daily prep sheet to determine production amounts.
  • Places products in the hot wells once properly heated and reheats various food products and place on the line as needed.
  • Stores all food products in specific size pans, covers, labels, dates and places on the line as needed.
  • Clean as you go and sanitize the work area, equipment, walls and floors.
  • Assists management team in controlling food cost.
  • Observes the basic rules of kitchen safety, sanitation and back door safety.
  • Uses First In First Out (FIFO) rule to ensure proper rotation.
  • Utilizes various cleaning chemicals in accordance with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
  • Completes all daily, opening and closing side work. Get checked out by management before leaving the building.
  • Provides friendly and competent customer service.
  • Reports for work in a timely manner when scheduled.
  • Assists with other duties, as assigned.
