About The Position

Citadel Security USA is seeking polished, dependable Premier Concierge Security Officers to provide a combination of professional security coverage and exceptional front-facing service in Denver, CO. This position goes beyond traditional security responsibilities. The officer serves as a welcoming and professional point of contact while maintaining a strong security presence throughout the assigned property. The role requires someone who can confidently assist visitors and tenants, provide accurate information, recognize potential security concerns, and respond appropriately when incidents occur. Successful candidates will bring strong customer-service experience, sound judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain professional and approachable in a variety of situations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional security experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience in a public-facing role required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and polished demeanor throughout employment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent observation and attention-to-detail abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional during challenging situations.
  • Ability to interact confidently with tenants, visitors, guests, and other members of the public.
  • Basic understanding of security procedures and emergency response practices.
  • Ability to follow written instructions, post orders, and established procedures.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to complete written reports.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
  • Must successfully complete required background and employment screening.
  • Must complete Citadel Security USA onboarding requirements.
  • An active Denver Security Guard License (SGL) is preferred. Candidates who do not currently hold an active Denver SGL must be qualified and able to obtain the required license.
  • Obtaining the required SGL includes applicable FBI background screening and fingerprinting.
  • Must remain eligible to hold and maintain any security credential or license required by applicable city, county, or state regulations.
  • This is an unarmed position; no firearm license is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or additional relevant education.
  • Two or more years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military service.
  • Previous concierge, hospitality, retail, guest services, or other high-level customer-facing experience.
  • Experience working in a professional, high-traffic, or public-facing environment.
  • Familiarity with access control, CCTV, alarms, visitor management, and incident documentation.
  • Experience with conflict resolution and verbal de-escalation.
  • Experience using security operations or workforce platforms such as TrackTik.
  • Experience performing vehicle patrols or other driving-related security assignments.
  • Strong ability to learn property layouts, procedures, amenities, and tenant information quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome tenants, visitors, and guests with a professional, courteous, and helpful approach.
  • Maintain a visible security presence while remaining approachable and attentive to the needs of those on the property.
  • Conduct routine foot and, when assigned, vehicle patrols throughout designated areas.
  • Inspect doors, gates, windows, access points, and other designated areas for unusual conditions or security concerns.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, access control systems, and other available security technology.
  • Verify identification, manage visitor access, issue badges or credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
  • Provide directions and general information regarding locations, operating hours, amenities, restrooms, lost-and-found procedures, and other available services.
  • Observe and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, unsafe conditions, unauthorized access, or other concerns.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to disturbances, emergencies, alarms, and other incidents.
  • Use verbal communication and de-escalation techniques to help resolve concerns whenever appropriate.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports documenting incidents, daily activities, unusual observations, and relevant interactions.
  • Apply established rules, post orders, access procedures, and organizational policies consistently.
  • Assist tenants and visitors with questions or concerns while maintaining appropriate security boundaries.
  • Protect confidential information and exercise discretion when handling sensitive situations.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of the assigned property, including designated areas, amenities, access points, and applicable procedures.
  • Communicate relevant information with supervisors, team members, emergency responders, and authorized personnel as needed.
