Requirements

Hands on, let's get it done, roll up your sleeves attitude
Passion for our mission and sustainable food/agriculture
History of excellent work attendance
Ability to lift and move 50 pounds
Comfort with working in varying weather conditions
Willingness to jump in to do whatever needs to get done

Warehouse experience
Food or agriculture industry experience

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team-based packing and loading line
Manage full and part time team member schedules based on daily workload levels and full time team member vacation days
Ensure all deliveries are packed accurately with correct frozen, chilled and non-frozen items and proper amount of dry ice
Ensure all delivery vans are properly loaded accurately and ready to hit on time for their schedule departures
Problem solve with other department members and research using customer and inventory systems
Assist departing drivers with questions or details about route/deliveries.
Coordinate and report to Operations Manager on team development and process changes
Load and unload freight trucks with products from our partners
Monitor product inventory levels and rotation and communicate needs
Complete general warehouse maintenance tasks such as compacting cardboard, preparing dry ice
