InnovOak School is seeking an exceptional PreKindergarten Teacher to join our growing team. This position is planned for due to potential enrollment growth and is expected to begin in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will lead a PreKindergarten HomeForm and become part of a collaborative Primary team committed to delivering one of the region's strongest academically focused preschool programs. For some candidates, this opportunity will include establishing a new classroom by designing the learning environment, selecting a classroom theme, organizing resources, and building a positive classroom culture before students arrive in September. Our PreKindergarten program combines structured, evidence-based instruction with purposeful play, inquiry, movement, exploration, and individual student coaching. Every activity has a clear developmental and academic purpose. Whether students are participating in circle time, centres, dramatic play, sensory experiences, outdoor learning, art, music, or hands-on investigations, teachers intentionally develop oral language, vocabulary, pre-reading, pre-writing, early mathematics, executive functioning, and social development. Drawing upon leading Canadian and international early years practices, our goal is to ensure every child enters Junior Kindergarten with strong learning habits, confidence, independence, and well-developed foundations in literacy, numeracy, communication, and self-regulation while remaining fully developmentally appropriate in both instruction and classroom experience. Teachers are supported by the Ontario curriculum, Cambridge International Curriculum frameworks, and a collaborative Early Years team committed to continuous improvement.
