About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Daycare Teacher. We have fulltime positions in our PreK Program, Toddlers and School Age Summer Program. Our Mission is to provide quality care for children, in a Christian environment with an extra amount of love for each one. To teach children social skills in a safe, happy environment. To introduce children to the love of Jesus at an early age. To provide a moderately structured program within which children can play and learn. Our classes are taught by dedicated and experienced educators. All teachers maintain a CDA, Associates or Bachelors degree in EC Education and use the PA Learning Standards and teaching strategies. They make sure that every student finds a path to success. We embrace a learning environment that will prepare the children for the future. Our classes incorporate traditional learning styles as well as hands-on experiences. We offer 3,4,and 5 year old Preschool. We also transition with local Kindergarten classes.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider
• Strong understanding of child development
• Patient, kind, and nurturing
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• First aid/CPR certified
• Degree in ECE or Elementary Education

• Knowledge of Keystone STARS

Responsibilities

• Plan games and activities that are developmentally appropriate
• Design a daily and weekly schedule
• Provide basic care and caregiving activities
• Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
