Chippewa Noah's Ark LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated PreK Counts Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Beaver Falls, PA. We will be beginning our 7th year with PreK Counts and have been very successful in creating a vital beginning for our Preschool children. Our Mission To provide quality care for children, in a Christian environment with an extra amount of love for each one. To teach children social skills in a safe, happy environment. To introduce children to the love of Jesus at an early age. To provide a moderately structured program within which children can play and learn. Dedicated Educators Our classes are taught by dedicated and experienced educators. All teachers maintain a CDA, Associates or Bachelors degree in EC Education and use the PA Learning Standards and teaching strategies. They make sure that every student finds a path to success. Preschool We embrace a learning environment that will prepare the children for the future. Our classes incorporate traditional learning styles as well as hands-on experiences. We offer 3,4,and 5 year old Preschool. We also transition with local Kindergarten classes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education required
  • Pennsylvania teaching certification in Early Childhood Education (PK-4) required
  • Prior experience working with preschool or PreK-aged children
  • Familiarity with Pennsylvania PreK Counts program guidelines and requirements is a plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
  • Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for early childhood development
  • Ability to pass required background checks and clearances per Pennsylvania state regulations

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate PreK Counts curriculum aligned with Pennsylvania's early learning standards
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment for preschool-aged children
  • Conduct ongoing child assessments and track developmental progress
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and classroom activities
  • Collaborate with program staff, administrators, and community partners to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with PreK Counts program requirements
  • Participate in professional development and required training sessions
