This position is for the 2026-2027 school year and is grant-funded. The Inclusion Teacher assumes professional responsibility for providing specialized learning experiences and supervision of students with disabilities in a mainstream setting of a regular classroom. The focus is to develop in each student the skills, attitudes, and knowledge to meet and exceed the State Core Curriculum Content Standards as outlined in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for the student, using approved curricula and directives of the school. Achieving academic excellence requires collaboration with other school staff, particularly the regular classroom teacher, and the parents of each student.
