About The Position

The Pregnancy Promise Program Project Specialist supports the Family and Social Services Administration’s grant-supported program to help pregnant individuals with substance use disorder achieve sustained recovery and reduce neonatal abstinence syndrome. The program includes collaborative care coordination with managed care entities and community health providers, provider education, and trauma-informed referrals that address social determinants of health. The Specialist works closely with the Project Manager, FSSA Chief Medical Officer, and internal and external stakeholders, including Medicaid members, families, providers, and advocates. The Specialist operates with substantial independence under general guidance, while consulting with a supervisor on highly complex or sensitive matters. The position is hybrid, with two days in the office and three days remote or traveling, and requires substantial local and statewide travel. The standard environment is an office, with extended computer use and occasional work beyond standard hours during high-volume periods.
