Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Good communication skills and ability to learn
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Assemble pipes, fittings, hangers, carriers, and other materials in accordance with fabrication shop specifications and project requirements.
  • Follow directions from the Prefabrication Supervisor and actively participate in training and skill development opportunities.
  • Demonstrate initiative by identifying work that needs to be completed and seeking guidance when necessary to support shop productivity.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring compliance with company safety standards and practices.
  • Assist the Prefabrication Supervisor with required documentation, reports, and administrative tasks.
  • Help protect and maintain company assets, including trucks, tools, equipment, and shop facilities.
  • Assist with receiving, tracking, and maintaining inventory of materials and deliveries.
  • Support shop operations by performing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication, cooperation, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Promote safe work practices and help eliminate potential hazards within the fabrication shop.
