About The Position

Reporting to a Reliability Maintenance Supervisor, the Predictive Maintenance Technician is responsible for collecting and analyzing data on all types of process equipment using predictive maintenance technologies. This includes performing Vibration Analysis, Oil analysis, Thermography, Ultrasonic, and additional NDE methods. The technician will also create and maintain databases for each technology, generate and distribute condition and follow-up reports to all levels of management, and perform other duties as assigned.

Nice To Haves

• Previous training and experience with application of predictive maintenance technologies and associated software and hardware preferred
• Industrial maintenance skills equivalent to four (4) years as a journeyman preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of process equipment preferred
• Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word preferred
• CAT II or CAT III Vibration Analysis certification
• Infrared Thermography certification
• Ultrasound (UE) certification
• Oil Analysis certification
• Rotor balancing experience
• MT/PT certification
• RDI certification
• UT Level I or II certification
• Experience with SKF Aptitude Analyst, DBX, Microlog, or similar condition monitoring platforms.
• Previous mining process plant experience preferred, including troubleshooting and inspection of rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, agitators, and fans.
• Working knowledge of SAP or equivalent CMMS software preferred
