About The Position

This position plays a significant role in preserving and improving the inherent reliability of plant equipment by delivering best maintenance practices to the shop floor. This position also will perform routine inspections using human senses, or the use of tools such as; vibration monitoring, infra-red, and ultra-sound to determine if repairs or replacement parts are needed by communicating to department supervision.

Requirements

• Knowledge of or capable of learning touch screen computer systems and the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Knowledge of Microsoft programs; excel, power point, word
• Completes MLT1 certification within a specified period.
• Complete one of the following within a specified period; vibration, infra-red, or ultra-sonic.
• Complete certification through the McCain Operator Training Program
• Have or be able to obtain: McCain Forklift Certification
• Have or be able to obtain: McCain Scissor Lift Certification
• Have or be able to obtain: McCain Boom Lift Certification
• Have or be able to obtain: Valid State of Maine Drivers license.
• Minimum of 5 years general maintenance 1 experience
