Preconstruction Manager - Littleton

We also have a self-performing concrete team that partners with other contractors on projects requiring specialized expertise. The Preconstruction Manager is a key leadership role responsible for project pipeline development, work procurement, and estimating operations, aligning business development with company priorities. This role leads the estimating team, drives cost-effective preconstruction solutions, and builds strategic relationships with clients, developers, and industry partners. Strong strategic thinking, organizational skills, and process optimization are essential.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 7-10 years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, or business development within construction
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Timberline, Procore, Bluebeam), scheduling tools, and financial forecasting
- Proven leadership, team management, and stakeholder coordination skills
- Strong understanding of market trends, construction methods, materials, and cost structures
Nice To Haves
- LEED AP, DBIA, or other relevant certifications preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage the project pipeline and align opportunities with company resources and priorities
- Identify, track, and manage new business opportunities in collaboration with business development and marketing
- Lead the estimating team, overseeing workload and ensuring accurate cost estimates
- Ensure cost-effective solutions and value engineering during preconstruction
- Foster relationships with clients, developers, and industry partners
- Develop and execute strategies to keep the company competitive in target markets
- Implement technology and process improvements across preconstruction
- Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to inform strategy
