About The Position

The Preconstruction Manager (PM) supports the preconstruction phase of assigned construction projects, ensuring accurate cost estimation, value engineering, bid management, and subcontractor coordination. Working closely with the Senior Preconstruction Manager, the PM plays a key role in executing FCC preconstruction standards while assisting in team coordination, client communication, and ensuring project goals are met efficiently.

Requirements

• Proficient in preconstruction technology, including Bluebeam, Procore, and Building Connected.
• Understanding of constructability, delivery models, and construction document management.
• Skilled in timeline management, from initial project planning through execution.
• Act with initiative, setting and achieving goals independently while maintaining accountability.
• Ensure accurate, clear communication internally and externally.
• Embrace and promote FCC’s mission, vision, and core values through positive team interactions.
• Minimum 5 years in preconstruction or a related field.
• Knowledge of preconstruction technologies (Destini Estimator, Building Connected).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and detailed estimates, managing all aspects of the budgeting and bidding processes.
• Work closely with project teams and trade partners to ensure clear communication, streamlined processes, and project consistency.
• Communicate regularly with clients and team members, addressing concerns and aligning project objectives.
• Assist in evaluating trade partner bids, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in project pricing.
