About The Position

MMR is seeking Preconstruction Engineer candidates with a degree in Construction Management or industry related equivalent. The responsibilities would include, but not limited to, the following: Perform engineered estimates and takeoffs for procurement Develop project budgets and project tracking systems Assist with building work packages for project execution teams Price materials and perform bulk buyouts Work with clients for front end trade coordination Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and upper management

Requirements

BS in Construction Management or related field
In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Field or Project Engineer in electrical construction is required
Ability to read and understand electrical drawing packages and specifications
Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgement with minimal supervision
Must have basic knowledge in estimating and controls
Working knowledge of MS Office software
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
Regular and reliable attendance at work
