The Preconstruction Director supports regional construction teams from contract award through project mobilization. This position is responsible for assisting with major project setup activities, including staffing coordination, internal project setup, budget development, financial forecasting, accident prevention planning, project quality planning, subcontract formation, and other preconstruction deliverables required to transition projects into successful execution. The Preconstruction Director works closely with regional operations, project management, safety, quality, finance, contracts, procurement, and corporate leadership to ensure new projects are properly planned, staffed, budgeted, documented, and positioned for successful execution. This role also supports continuous improvement by reviewing past project deliverables, creating standardized templates by customer and construction type, and evaluating internal construction processes for efficiency, consistency, and compliance.
