About The Position

Precision Strike is expanding due to significant growth within our munitions business. We are seeking a New Product Introduction (NPI) Lead to join our team. This role is critical in supporting our precision-guided munitions programs, which are projected to experience substantial rate increases over the next seven-plus years. You will collaborate closely with the Aviation Weapons and Strategic Missiles NPI teams to drive operational excellence and sustainable growth. This position is a hybrid role on a first shift 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off!

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in Operations or Engineering
Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
Proven track record of successfully launching products on time, within budget, and to customer requirements
Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, manage resources, and control budgets
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and processes

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles
Experience implementing AS9145
Direct Factory Floor Support
Experience with FMEA
Experience with supply chain management and logistics
Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and lean manufacturing principle

Responsibilities

Develop manufacturing process flows and transition plans aligned with AS9145, focusing on risk identification and achieving DTUPC targets.
Partner with engineering to ensure products are designed for manufacturability, testability, and reliability (DFM/DFT/DFR).
Serve as the Operations Lead, managing cross-functional coordination across design, production, and supply chain to meet program objectives.
Lead configuration spins for legacy programs and implement quality control processes to ensure zero-defect delivery and customer compliance.
Mitigate technical and supply chain risks while monitoring KPIs to optimize time-to-market and launch success.
Support to strategic initiatives.
Operations support to proposals within the PS portfolio.
CAM responsibilities (as required).
