About The Position

Step into a day on our shop floor in Milwaukee, where accuracy and craftsmanship define every weld. You’ll set up your station, review the day’s prints, and run clean, consistent beads across a range of metals—owning both the quality and the pace of production. What your day looks like Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan each weld. Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on diverse components and materials. Verify weld integrity and appearance against standards before release. Keep your work area organized and compliant with all safety practices. Partner with teammates to hit daily production targets and timelines. Conduct basic upkeep and troubleshooting on welding equipment. Join ongoing training to sharpen techniques and expand capabilities. What you bring Hands-on experience as a MIG welder or similar role. Comfort reading blueprints and technical documents. Solid grasp of welding techniques, quality expectations, and safety protocols. Attention to detail with a practical approach to problem-solving. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team. Physical stamina and strength for shop-floor welding tasks. AWS D1.1 certification or the ability to pass the test.
