As a Precision Metal Polisher, you'll transform machined components into finished precision parts by polishing surfaces to exact customer specifications.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of basic algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or be able to comply with U.S. export regulations.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes.
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing or precision machining experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Polish precision components to blueprint, customer, and manufacturing specifications.
- Hand carve radii to exact dimensional requirements.
- Verify radii, dimensions, and surface finishes using precision measuring equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Operate polishing equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
