About The Position

This position is responsible for managing incoming precision technology inventory, verifying order accuracy, processing inventory paperwork, labeling components, loading software and firmware onto machine control components, assembling install kits, and coordinating shipments to branch locations across our footprint. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools and inventory tracking software, and the ability to quickly learn new technology processes, including machine control and GPS/grade control systems. The specialist will also work within internal business and accounting software and must be capable of lifting packages weighing up to 60 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Additional education or certification in a technology-related field is a plus.
Experience with inventory or order tracking software preferred.
Interest in or familiarity with construction equipment, GPS/machine control technology, or precision construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

Determine the correct software for machine control applications and install them on various components (receivers, displays, sensors, and related hardware).
Utilize Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and additional software to track the status of install orders and stocking orders of install kits.
Receive and sort incoming packages from vendors.
Verify accuracy of received items against purchase orders and supporting documentation.
Complete required paperwork for inventory management and branch-to-branch transfers.
Label items accurately for identification and tracking purposes.
Assemble components into install kits according to specified criteria and job requirements.
Use internal accounting software to receive parts from other branch locations.
Ensure all items are properly segmented, stored, and accounted for in the warehouse.
Coordinate with internal route delivery drivers to ship kits to branch locations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace.
Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.
Assist with other warehouse tasks and duties as assigned.
