About The Position
Precision Electronics Assembler I Westerville, Ohio | Full-Time | Manufacturing FLSA Status: Non-Exempt At DwyerOmega, precision is everything. We are seeking a detail-oriented Precision Electronics Assembler I to join our Manufacturing team and help build products that meet exacting quality and performance standards. Lake Shore's manufacturing team plays a critical role in delivering highly specialized products trusted by customers around the globe. What You'll Do As a Precision Electronics Assembler I, you will assemble, inspect, and test highly sensitive electronic sensor products in a clean and controlled manufacturing environment. This position requires patience, precision, and a strong commitment to quality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in assembly
- Experience working with small components requiring a high degree of accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow written procedures and instructions
- Basic computer skills and comfort learning manufacturing systems
- Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to perform repetitive microscope-based work for 6-8 hours per day
- Ability to work with extremely small, delicate, and highly sensitive materials
- Ability to identify small defects and variations in components and finished products
- Ability to maintain focus and concentration on repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Ability to sit in a stationary position for prolonged periods throughout the workday
- Ability to pass vision acuity testing, with or without corrective lenses
- Ability to use fine motor skills for assembly, testing, soldering, and inspection activities
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
- Ability to move throughout applicable work environments.
- Ability to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, relevant job-related equipment, and applicable technologies.
- Ability to communicate with other individuals and interpret the communication of others.
- Ability to see and observe the work environment around them.
- Ability to pass vision acuity tests with or without vision correction.
- Manual dexterity for assembly, testing, soldering, etc.

Responsibilities
- Assembling delicate electronic components and sensor products according to detailed work instructions
- Working with microscopic materials and components under microscopes and magnification equipment
- Performing inspection and testing throughout the assembly process
- Identifying cosmetic and functional defects to ensure product quality
- Reading and following manufacturing procedures and work instructions
- Handling highly sensitive and fragile materials with care
- Safely working with chemicals used in manufacturing processes
- Recording production information and interacting with company systems as required
- Maintaining productivity, quality, and efficiency standards
