About The Position

Step into the Shop Floor In Arab, AL, your day starts with a blueprint in hand and a vertical mill warming up. As our Precision CNC Milling Operator, you’ll prep 3–4 axis VMCs, dial in tooling, run production, and verify every dimension so parts leave the machine exactly as engineered. You’ll keep equipment in top shape, collaborate with teammates to smooth out bottlenecks, and help us push for better cycle times and repeatable quality. What You’ll Do Set up and operate CNC mills following prints, specs, and setup sheets. Monitor production runs for accuracy, surface finish, and throughput. Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC equipment. Read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and schematics. Inspect finished components to confirm they meet quality requirements. Coordinate with the team to improve processes and reduce waste. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. What It Takes High school diploma or equivalent; CNC machining certificate or technical degree preferred. Hands-on experience as a CNC Operator (or similar machining role). Solid understanding of CNC machinery and programming concepts. Ability to read/interpret blueprints and technical documentation. Strong attention to detail with practical problem-solving skills. Comfort working independently and in a team environment. Clear communication and a positive, can-do attitude. Requirements
