About The Position

As part of Brunswick’s Precision Assembly team, the Precision Assembly Operator rotates between stations as needed, uses assembly and inline testing equipment, maintains a safe and clean work area, and records production information on paper or computers. The role involves assembling and testing products, monitoring quality, and demonstrating Brunswick’s values of Teamwork, Respect, Determination, and Passion.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
One to three years of manufacturing or precision assembly experience.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to operate technical and precision manufacturing equipment.
Physical strength, agility, and dexterity, and the ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to safely operate production equipment and work around moving machinery.
Ability to bend, twist, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive hand movements.

Nice To Haves

Formal building, technical, or mechanical education.
Experience in environments using ISO, Quality Management Systems, Lean Six Sigma, and 5S.

Responsibilities

Set up machinery and ensure production materials are available.
Operate and monitor equipment, replenishing materials as needed.
Move parts weighing up to 50 pounds; use lift assistance for parts over 50 pounds.
Use torque guns and other calibrated equipment.
Interact with PLCs to ensure products are built correctly.
Perform quality checks on materials and document findings.
Maintain a high level of quality in production.
Identify and report malfunctions to appropriate parties.
Keep equipment and the assigned work area clean.
Comply with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
Participate in departmental improvement projects.
Train others as needed.
Keep production records using paper or computers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
