About The Position

Agtegra Cooperative is seeking a Precision Ag intern in Huron, SD for the summer of 2027. Agtegra Cooperative is a local agricultural cooperative headquartered in Aberdeen, SD. It is owned by over 7,000 farmers and ranchers, predominantly in North and South Dakota, with a network of over 70 locations and 850 employees. Gain hands-on experience while working side by side with industry experts through our Agtegra First internship program. With opportunities available across our business, an internship with us enables you to utilize your knowledge in real-world situations. The Precision Ag intern aids in the day-to-day operations of the Innovation Center precision ag department and innovation center parts department through sales, service, installation of hardware and parts, maintain inventory, training and assisting external as well as internal customers.

Requirements

Enrollment towards relevant agriculture degree. Enrollment in a precision ag program is preferred.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Must be 18 years or older.
English proficiency.
Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Assist in the installation and troubleshooting of precision equipment.
Service precision equipment as needed, at the location or by traveling to the site.
Learn and utilize the variety of ag tech tools that are offered to customers.
Work with and assist in the maintenance of precision plots in Agtegra's regions.
Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program, and DOT regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
