About The Position
Ensures the effective and efficient use of services, monitors appropriateness and medical necessity, and provides information needed to authorize diagnostic testing with multiple insurance providers. Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits, obtains deductible and coinsurance amounts, and secures precertification or authorization for outpatient diagnostic testing and other services as needed. Promotes teamwork with all members of the healthcare team and performs duties consistently with St. Luke’s mission and values. The position offers a hybrid schedule.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
