About The Position

This position is responsible for confirming and satisfying all authorization billing requirements by obtaining appropriate precertification or authorization from necessary payers to avoid treatment delays and payment penalties. The representative confirms financial and insurance information obtained during registration to determine whether State, Federal, and third-party precertification and billing requirements are met, helping ensure optimal reimbursement for services to be rendered. The stated schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in patient access, insurance verification, or an equivalent revenue cycle role.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in hospital precertification or utilization.
