About The Position

Tindall Corporation is a leading Precast Concrete Manufacturer seeking a Precast Engineer, PE. This role involves managing the design and drafting of projects, providing engineering interface, and mentoring junior engineers. The position is based in Conley, Georgia, and is an onsite role.

Requirements

Registration as a PE is required.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering is required.

Nice To Haves

4 (+) years of related experience.
At least 2(+) years in a related industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

Managing the design and drafting of projects, either with internal or outside resources.
Generating designs and drawings for precast concrete systems from construction documents, or from conceptual information.
Interfacing with sales, estimating, project management, operations, customers, general contractors, and architects/engineers for engineering package generation, submittal, approval, and fabrication/erection information.
Resolving questions, conflicts, or issues related to engineering packages and fabrication/erection.
Providing sales support as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
Ensuring field observations on projects are performed, including writing Observation Reports and developing/tracking field repairs.
Leading two to four designers and one or two entry-level engineers on a project-by-project basis.
Checking the work of Graduate Engineers and Associate Engineers on a project-by-project basis.
Mentoring less experienced associates.
