About The Position

We are seeking a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) to support the structural design of precast and prestressed concrete elements across a range of construction projects. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and an interest in applying them to precast concrete design in a collaborative, project‑focused environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional licensure is a requirement
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and support multiple projects with guidance
  • Strong organizational skills and eagerness to meet deadlines
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative team environment
  • Openness to feedback, critical thinking, and developing effective time management

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in precast concrete design considered an asset
  • Interest in learning structural analysis tools such as E‑Tabs

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design of precast/prestressed concrete elements under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Support preparation of design drawings and basic calculations for precast components.
  • Work with architects, contractors, and other team members to help ensure design requirements are met.
  • Learn to conduct structural analysis and apply relevant codes and standards with supervision.
  • Provide technical support during different phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Attend project meetings to observe and contribute ideas to design discussions.
  • Develop an understanding of precast concrete design principles and construction practices.
  • Participate in ongoing training and stay informed about standard codes and practices.
