About The Position
The Pre-Weigh Swing Worker (HD) is responsible for heavy-duty weighing, staging, and handling of raw materials in an industrial production environment. This role ensures materials are prepared accurately, safely, and on time to support morning production.
Requirements
- Heavy-duty weighing, staging, and handling of raw materials
- Accurate and timely preparation of materials
- Ability to lift and transport heavy materials using pallet jacks or carts
- Verification of material codes and lot numbers
- Accurate recording of weights
- Labeling and staging of materials
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Following GMP and safety procedures
- Reporting discrepancies or hazards
- Supporting inventory rotation (FIFO)
Responsibilities
- Weigh raw materials according to batch sheets
- Lift and transport heavy materials using pallet jacks or carts
- Verify material codes and lot numbers
- Record weights accurately in logs or digital systems
- Label and stage materials for production
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow GMP and safety procedures
- Report discrepancies or hazards
- Support inventory rotation (FIFO)
- Report discrepancies, spills, or safety hazards
- Collaborate with supervisors and production
