About The Position

The Pre-Voc Specialist provides direct support to people participating in the Community Based Pre-Voc program in Queensbury, NY. The role teaches and assists participants in obtaining and maintaining job readiness and work skills essential to successful employment.

This is a full-time, 35-hour-per-week hourly position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pay is $20.00 per hour plus longevity.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience is necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Flexibility and strong organizational skills are required.
