About The Position

Snowshoe Mountain Resort is seeking an energetic and organized individual to supervise our Pre-Ski School for young children ages 2-4. In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations, manage staff schedules, and provide training to ensure a safe, engaging, and memorable experience for our youngest guests. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be willing & able to learn to ski
• May require lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• At least 18 Months Experience in a related field and at least 1 year experience working in a supervisory capacity
• Knowledge of safety practices, CPR/first aid certification preferred
• Previous outdoor experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Create and implement lesson plans tailored for young children.
• Schedule, train, and manage staff to ensure high professionalism and adequate coverage.
• Handle guest complaints, ensuring a positive experience for both children and parents.
• Oversee paperwork for registration, check-in, and check-out; maintain detailed incident records.
• Ensure the pre-ski school is clean, safe, and well-maintained; submit bi-weekly safety reports.
• Monitor and control expenses related to programming.
• Order, serve, and manage lunch and snack supplies.
• Assist with bathroom breaks, minor accidents, and clothing adjustments; organize activities and ensure children are ready for outdoor fun.
• Hold staff meetings, recognize performance, and assist with other duties as needed.
