The Pre-Service Representative is responsible for the registration and scheduling process for complex patients within the Patient Engagement Center. This role involves updating patient registration, scheduling, and insurance information in the electronic medical record, as well as preparing patient disability and out-of-work/school paperwork. The representative will discuss financial obligations, explain regulatory forms, and answer patient questions. They will work in multiple systems to ensure accurate registration and support clinical workflow, while also understanding and supporting the practice and hospital's strategic plan, policies, and initiatives. A key aspect of this role is to champion an optimal patient experience and promote patient and employee safety.
