About The Position
Hillel Torah North Suburban Day School in Skokie is seeking a warm, energetic, and passionate preschool assistant teacher with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping children learn and grow and have a collaborative approach when working with other teachers to create a positive and supportive classroom environment. Requirements
- Prior experience working with children ages 3 - 5 years
- Ability to actively engage with children
- Commitment to providing a nurturing and developmentally appropriate classroom experience
- Warm, energetic, and passionate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for helping children learn and grow
- Collaborative approach when working with other teachers
Responsibilities
- Care for and support each individual child throughout the day, including but not limited to: in the classroom, on the playground, in the gym, in the bathroom, and during mealtimes
- Collaborate with other teachers to create a positive and supportive classroom environment
