About The Position

The Clinic Pre-Registration Specialist, under the supervision of the Director of Patient Access, provides meticulous pre-registration of patients scheduled throughout the organization and develops written estimates for patients within the guidelines of the No Surprise Act.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous phone experience required
• Knowledge of basic office procedures/equipment and computer systems required

Nice To Haves

• 2-3 years of customer service, reception, or business experience preferred
• Familiar with medical terminology and prior health care experience preferred
• Previous cash handling experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that patients are registered completely and accurately
• Verifying demographic and insurance information is complete and accurate
• Developing a written estimate for the self-pay or out-of-network patients within the guidelines of the No Surprise Act by working the work queues
