About The Position

The Pre-Post Charge Nurse at Baptist Surgery Center Eastpoint works 40 hours weekly, full-time, during the day shift. This role is for a passionate nurse ready to advance their leadership career by coordinating patient care, supporting team members, and ensuring smooth daily operations within the Pre/Post Surgical department. The Charge Nurse serves as a clinical leader and trusted resource, fostering a safe, efficient, and patient-focused environment. Working closely with the Nurse Manager, the Charge Nurse assists with patient care coordination, staffing support, team development, and quality improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced setting, demonstrates strong clinical expertise, communicates effectively, and enjoys mentoring others while delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate is organized, adaptable, and committed to fostering teamwork, patient safety, and positive outcomes for patients and their families.

Requirements

• Two years relevant patient-care experience required.
• Active Kentucky RN license required
• BCLS required
