Community Surgery Center of Glendale is committed to delivering affordable, high-quality outpatient surgical care in a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Since opening its doors in 2013, it has built a reputation as a trusted partner for physicians and healthcare providers by putting patients at the center of everything they do. The mission is to provide exceptional care and an outstanding surgical experience, making it the community's first choice for outpatient surgery. As a Pre-Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in bringing that mission to life. Working closely with the PACU Charge Nurse in daily clinical operations, you will help plan, direct, coordinate, and provide high-quality, individualized patient care in the pre-operative period of the patient’s surgical experience. In this role, you will participate in direct patient care, including maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment. You will perform pre/post-operative teaching to patients and/or their significant other, along with managing patient complications and emergencies, preoperatively, as well as postoperatively. It is crucial that you maintain a professional demeanor for the patient and staff members, effectively communicate and set a positive patient experience for them and their families. Additionally, you will be expected to utilize appropriate services when needed to communicate with all staff members and patients with speech and hearing disorders to ensure the highest standards of patient experience and patient safety. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, thrive in a collaborative team environment, and are committed to clinical excellence, we'd love to welcome you to our team.
