About The Position

The Pre-Litigation Attorney supports the mission and goals of Disparti Law Group by representing our clients’ best interests through their legal journeys and negotiating the settlements with insurance companies. The Pre-Litigation Attorney strives to maximize case values to ensure each client receives a most favorable award possible for the loss. The Pre-Litigation Attorney is responsible for the direction and guidance of the assigned case management team.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois
  • In good standing with the Illinois Bar
  • Excellent legal research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to exceptional client service
  • High integrity; strong work ethic
  • Collaborative leadership skills
  • Juris Doctoral degree from accredited school of law
  • Experience with personal injury claims, with a focus on Pre-Litigation

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred legal case management database experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of personal injury cases from intake through settlement, maximizing case value
  • Conduct thorough case investigations to determine liability and damages.
  • Draft and file legal documents needed in pre-litigation.
  • Negotiate the most favorable settlements to maximize case value with insurance companies.
  • Provide exceptional client service, keeping clients informed about the progress of their cases.
  • Special projects, as assigned.
