About The Position

The Law Offices of Joumana Kayrouz is seeking a proactive, client-focused, and results-motivated plaintiff auto/personal injury attorney. This role involves managing pre-suit cases from intake through demand, negotiation, and resolution, or preparing them for litigation. The firm handles marketing, intake, and client acquisition, allowing the attorney to focus on client interaction, building demand packages, and negotiating settlements. The attorney will manage a steady flow of plaintiff auto negligence matters with support staff and systems, with compensation tied to performance.

Requirements

Juris Doctor and active membership in good standing with the Michigan Bar
2+ years of plaintiff auto / personal injury experience — pre-litigation or litigation backgrounds both welcome
Ability to manage pre-suit files through records, treatment, demand preparation, negotiation, and resolution
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively
Strong client service, negotiation, legal writing, and practical judgment, with a proactive, responsive approach

Nice To Haves

Michigan auto experience (first- and third-party) highly preferred, and compensated accordingly

Responsibilities

Manage pre-litigation auto injury cases from intake through settlement or transition to litigation
Work directly with clients, providers, and support staff to keep cases moving
Review facts, damages, medical records, treatment status, liability, and case value
Own demand package preparation, review, and settlement negotiations
Conduct EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements
Identify next steps, resolve issues before they become delays, and complete files transitioning to litigation
