About The Position

DM Injury Law is one of the fastest-growing personal injury firms in the Midwest, with over 70 attorneys and 200 support staff across 10 markets. This role is based in our Wichita office, where you will manage a personal injury pre-litigation caseload. Your responsibilities will include building client relationships, negotiating with insurers, and moving cases toward resolution. The firm provides dedicated paralegals, case managers, and intake staff to handle administrative tasks, allowing attorneys to focus on legal work.

Requirements

Active Kansas Bar license — required
At least one year of personal injury experience preferred; strong candidates with relevant civil litigation background considered
Eligibility to obtain Missouri Bar license (UBE score or reciprocity)
Genuine client-first orientation — you understand how a case outcome affects someone's life
Organized and self-directed in a high-volume environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with legal technology and case management platforms

Responsibilities

Manage a personal injury pre-litigation caseload from intake through demand and resolution
Build and maintain client relationships through consistent, proactive communication
Negotiate directly with insurance adjusters to maximize client recovery
Draft demand letters, settlement agreements, correspondence, and legal documents
Collaborate with and direct paralegal and case management staff in the Wichita office
Develop referral relationships that grow your book of business — and your income
