About The Position

As a Pre-Licensed Therapist at LynLake Centers for Wellbeing, you will be dedicated to delivering exceptional outpatient client care in a collaborative setting. Your primary responsibilities will encompass conducting diagnostic assessments and administering targeted treatment, drawing from an array of culturally responsive, trauma-informed and diverse therapeutic modalities, including individual, couples, family, and/or group psychotherapy. Your caseload may include individuals presenting with depression, anxiety, trauma, significant life changes, ADHD, and other mental health symptoms and developmental concerns, thus necessitating experience across a broad spectrum of client profiles and conditions. LynLake Centers for WellBeing is an established, integrative group mental health and wellness practice serving the Twin Cities, MN, with more than 240 interdisciplinary clinicians and staff. Requirements

  • Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited program in a counseling-related field, such as Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
  • In a pre-licensed track receiving supervision for one of the following licensures: LPCC, LICSW or LMFT in the state of Minnesota.
  • Minimum of one year of previous group practice experience (or related outpatient practice experience)
  • Exceptional clinical and boundary-setting skills along with expertise in therapy processes and treatment modalities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team productively and effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Works with children under the age of 13 years old
  • Trained in Trauma/PTSD (EMDR; ART; Somatic Experiencing; Sensorimotor Psychotherapy; Brainspotting; Internal Family Systems (IFS); DBT; Neurofeedback) and/or Sex therapy.
  • Experience or training working with: Neurodivergence (ADHD and ASD), addiction, eating disorders, aging/older clients (and able to accept Medicare), Alzheimer’s/Dementia, unhoused clients, Women’s health (fertility, postpartum, perinatal, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Providing professional clinical services, including individual, couples, group, and/or family therapy
  • Following company policies, professional conduct standards, and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Timely completion of medical records and associated tasks to support billing and administration.
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments, monitor client progress, provide relevant education, and develop treatment plans.
  • Make referrals to other health professionals and community members as needed.
  • Attend internal and/or external continuing education courses to stay updated on best practices.
  • Maintain a minimum caseload of 24 clients per week required (for W2 Full Time)
