About The Position

InStride Health is seeking a virtual Pre-Licensed Therapist to join their team. This role focuses on delivering family-centric and evidence-based care to Children, Adolescents, & Young Adults. The position is fully remote and aims to improve access to and outcomes of specialty anxiety and OCD care by combining research-backed clinical care with innovative technology. The company's mission is to make this care accessible to every child, teen, young adult, and family who needs it.

Requirements

  • Provisional / Associate licensure with one of two designations: Provisional / Associate Social Work License & Masters Degree from an accredited school of Social Work OR Provisional / Associate Counseling License & Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program OR Pre-Licensed Psychologist with a Ph.D. or PsyD. in psychology from an accredited school of psychology
  • Graduate-level clinical internship with therapy training required
  • Background in working with children and adolescents, with anxiety and related disorders, or preferably both
  • Basic computer skills, facility with and openness to new technologies
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible and nimble, embrace change, and work well both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, mission driven environment
  • Culturally responsive with regard to diversity and inclusion
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a manner that inspires confidence and trust

Nice To Haves

  • Experience and training in delivering evidence-based treatments (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based individual and group clinical care to patients and families
  • Use measurement-based care to inform treatment planning
  • Lead and collaborate with other care team members (e.g., coach and psychiatrist)
  • Provide feedback on program curricula and training protocols
  • Provide feedback regarding the various applications of technology in treatment
  • Maintain awareness of risk management issues
  • Complete documentation in a timely and thorough manner
  • Participate in initial and ongoing trainings on the application of evidence-based and tech-enhanced care delivery
  • Facilitate skills or skills practice groups, as assigned. These CBT-based groups are for parents/caregivers and focus on skills development and implementation based on the InStride Health curriculum, integrating aspects of ACT and PMT.
