About The Position

The Goddard School in Springboro is seeking a responsible, dependable, motivated, and caring individual for an Assistant Teacher position in their Pre-Kindergarten program. The facility is a state-of-the-art 20,000 sq. ft. building with 10 classrooms, a half-court gym, a gross motor room, and 3 separate playgrounds.

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of working in a preschool or group environment.
• Must possess excellent communication skills, creativity, strong work ethic, positive energy and enthusiasm about early childhood education.
• Focus on teamwork and customer service required.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds, sustain a high level of activity, bend, stoop, and sit on the floor.

Nice To Haves

• CDA Credential is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Successful classroom management using developmentally appropriate practices.
• Working with lead teacher to implement lesson plans in academic and enrichment subject areas.
• Parent communication.
• Maintaining an aesthetically pleasing classroom environment.
