About The Position

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a Pre-K Childcare Assistant for our After School Program at the Woestina Elementary School location for the 2026–2027 school year. This role involves working with children aged 5-12, ensuring they are engaged, safe, and having fun. The position requires maintaining program quality, ensuring adequate staffing, adhering to compliance standards, and managing inventory. The schedule follows the school calendar, with morning program hours from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM and afternoon program hours from 1:45 PM to 5:00 PM. Opportunities are available for morning, afternoon, or both programs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Ensure children are engaged, safe, and having fun every day.
• Ensure the program reflects Healthy Kids Program’s model.
• Ensure the site is fully staffed every day.
• Ensure teachers are prepared, supported, and showing up for the kids.
• Ensure the site operates in ratio at all times.
• Ensure records are accurate and current.
• Ensure the program is ready for inspection on any given day.
• Ensure the site is well-stocked with the supplies and materials teachers need.
• Restock supplies before they run out.
