About The Position

We are recruiting for a mission-driven Pre-Health Trainee - School Based to join our team! We're with you for life’s journey. Under close supervision of an assigned mentor/preceptor, the SBHC Pre-Health Trainee will have the opportunity to observe clinical practices, assist mentors in low level patient care, and complete other non-clinical duties as assigned. Trainees will also assist clinic teams in scheduling patient appointment, including insurance verification and other related tasks as needed.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Required

Communicating — Communicating effectively orally and in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience, express or exchange ideas by verbal communications.

Responsibilities

Shadowing of mentor(s). (50%)
Non-clinical duties as assigned (this could include, scheduling and registering patients, stocking supplies, turning over exam rooms, administrative duties, rooming/escorting patients, working on special projects etc.) (50%)
