About The Position

Provide general admin/office support. Responsibilities Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for current students exploring pre-health pathways. Manage general email account and respond to emails, and escalate complex issues to director in a timely manner. Hold peer drop-in hours to answer general questions and share resources (refer complex issues to director). Assist with outreach efforts by helping to create peer-friendly content for workshops, student org collaborations, social media take overs, and announcements. Support workshops, orientations, and info sessions by helping with logistics, promotion, and peer engagement. Participate in recruitment and community-building activities (tabling, prospective family visits, student panels). Share personal insights on navigating pre-health coursework, campus involvement, and student life. Maintain confidentiality when working with student information. Contribute ideas and feedback on how the office can better engage students. Carry out assigned tasks to support the growth of the office. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current Chapman University undergraduate student in good academic standing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Friendly, approachable, and comfortable engaging with peers.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work professionally and maintain confidentiality.
  • Adept at learning quickly, and receptive to instruction.
