About The Position
Responsible for preparing and verifying loan documents before funding, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement.
Requirements
- High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc.
- 5 years related experience and/or training
Responsibilities
- Review loan documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Verify borrowers' information, incomes, assets, and employment.
- Confirm underwriting conditions have been met.
- Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies before closing or funding.
- Approve loans for funding once all requirements are met.
- Responsible for training new Loan Assistants on all duties.
- Responsible for training on LoanVantage for new Loan Officers and Loan Assistants.
