About The Position

As part of the talented Pre Fab team, you will be a skilled and detail-oriented professional responsible for utilizing tools while cutting kits from a variety of materials such as fiberglass, wood and bulk materials. You will need to read blueprints, schematics and bills of material to provide the essential kits to our line of legendary boats. Nice To Haves

Strong mechanical Experience reading blueprints is preferred
Basic skills in forklift, overhead hoist, and computer skills preferred
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and method
Ability to remain extremely focused and organized with a high-attention to detail / high degree of accuracy.
Able to work with multiple priorities and people.

Responsibilities

Uses a variety of machines and saws to cut fiberglass, wood and bulk materials for boat lines
Cuts materials to proper specifications and assembles materials into kits for various boat lines, to be inserted into boats during the Lamination Process.
Operates and maintains various saws to include: Jig, Band and Table Saws.
Operates and maintains routers, grinders and electric shears.
Uses template and blueprints to cut fiberglass, wood and bulk materials
Cuts materials to specifications and assembles kits for lamination.
Reads Bills of Material to properly assemble kits.
Follows daily production schedule to complete in a timely manner.
Recordkeeping and Housekeeping.
Makes sure all work is performed in a safe manner.
May perform other duties as necessary.
